What was the highlight of Grand Inn Higashi-Okazaki

A very pleasant stay & I would return at any time & encourage others to use this hotel.

The room was perfect size, very clean & quiet. I had a lovely view across the river to Cherry trees in bloom on my arrival. I enjoyed the breakfast & the laundry facilities. The area surrounding the hotel was interesting with restaurants & outdoor seating in the plaza area. There is a Florist on the ground floor of the hotel that I used & was very pleased with the order. I enjoyed my stay very much & would stay again & recommend it to others.

My only suggestion for improvement would be to lift the bed & vacuum underneath occasionally. I dropped an earring that went just under the bed. When I retrieved it I noticed there was a lot of dust under the bed which, while not an allergy issue for me, it could be to another guest. This is NOT a complaint, just a suggestion.

Room was super quiet. It was nice and large compared to what I had in Tokyo. So was a nice change. The view of the river was really nice. It’s easy to access the train with the connecting ramp. Would stay here again and again.

Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant! Comfortable and very clean room, tasty breakfast with variety of food, attentive people everywhere to accommodate clients, and a great location! We were enjoying morning walks by the canal and the Okazaki castle park which is only about 10min walk away. Thank you everyone at the hotel for this wonderful experience!

Easy access from train, clean, quiet, nice view of river, walk to restaurants.

Great location short walk from the train station, very nice breakfast with allergy information given. I’m a celiac and it was easy to choose items but I did have to use a translate app.

I noticed many other Americans at the hotel so it would be nice if more information was written in English including the breakfast items and allergy information.

Nice and affordable hotel

The hotel is conveniently located near the Higashi-Okazaki train station and many restaurants. It's modern and very clean.

The breakfast could be better. I wish they offered a continental breakfast option.

Comfortable options near train station

This is a modern style hotel very close to the Higashi-Okazaki station, which can be accessed via an elevated path across the road. The rooms have comfortable beds and basic amenities including a work desk, mini fridge and an air purifier/ humidifier. It is very well located relative to a complex of restaurants, which can be accessed from the third floor, and a Lawson convenience store near the reception in first floor. Breakfast was included in my stay, and was simple but efficient. There is a good coffee machine and biscuits in the reception area which will be appreciated by those needing to work late hours. You can also get top-ups of some room items (like, for example, mouthwash) at all times from a table near the reception. The reception staff were very polite and helpful at all times. The room was kept spotless. Toothbrush, shaving kit, comb and other items were provided daily. I recommend it as a honest and no frills for business-oriented stays in the area

The hotel was just what I expected from the advertisement and provided good value for money. It would have been great to have an exercise area with a few machines, area more variety at the breakfast, but I am not complaining given that the price was very good for the level of comfort.
